Shortbread

Shortbread is a farinaceous sweet biscuit rich in butter and sugar, popular in Scotland. It is sold in tins decorated with multifarious emblems of Scottishness, principally tartan, Scottish Terriers (Scotties), kilted pipers, mountains, and heather.
