Broadcast television

Broadcast television is a remote viewing system distributed by radio waves or cable, that may be viewed by the general public or paid subscribers. Unlike closed-circuit television (or CCTV) which is limited to a security monitoring or the restricted distribution of audio-visual media within a company, school, university or the like.
