A UK daily newspaper known for its profoundly liberal stance, being pro-abortion on demand, anti-Bush and critical of Tony Blair's support for the war on Iraq.

It has just celebrated the publishing of its 50,000th issue.

It has a strong presence on the internet (http://www.guardian.co.uk/)

Its writers tend to be agnostics or even atheists and the paper should be strictly avoided both by Christians and by conservatives of all kinds.
