GURPS

GURPS (Generic Universal RolePlaying System), is a role-playing game written by Steve Jackson in 1986. It is a set of rules designed to allow role-playing to take place in any setting, from fantasy to science fiction. In 1988, GURPS won an award for having the best role-playing rules.[1]
