Battle of Cooch's Bridge

The Battle of Cooch's Bridge took place near Newark, Delaware, shortly before the Battle of Brandywine on September 3, 1777. After capturing New York City, Britain launched an effort to divide the Thirteen Colonies which would have probably ended the rebellion.
