Foundation of Individual Rights and Expression

The Foundation of Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE), formerly named the Foundation of Individual Rights and Education, is an entity that litigates in favor of freedom of speech. It is based in Philadelphia.[1]

It defends academic freedom primarily in the campus setting.
