Is it necessary?

Is it really necessary to point out which monarchs were homosexuals? ApGriffith 17:59, 3 January 2008 (EST)

You are right. Historians did accuse several of homosexuality, but that should be covered, if necessary, on individual article pages. Karajou 18:03, 3 January 2008 (EST)
And in most cases it's just supposition and hearsay and therefore unfair. ApGriffith 18:07, 3 January 2008 (EST)
The only British monarch I had read as being homosexual was Richard I, and that source was from Encylopaedia Britannica. It's possible he may have been, but if there are no sources to back it up, then it's nothing more than an allegation and should be avoided. Karajou 03:46, 4 January 2008 (EST)

Intro

The introduction says that this is a list from 1801, but that seems to be no longer the case. Philip J. Rayment 09:06, 4 January 2008 (EST)

Yes it was ambiguous. I've just made it clearer. ApGriffith 09:09, 4 January 2008 (EST)
