The word length of most books is available on the internet, and useful for setting goals for completion of review of the text.
For example, the word length of Billy Budd by Herman Melville (published posthumously) is 23,750 words, which is an estimate based on its 95 pages.[1] As such, it is considered to be a novella (typically between 17,500 and 40,000 words) rather than a full-length novel.
