The Uniform Domain Name Resolution Policy (URDP) process helps resolve domain name disputes.[1]
The URDP process allows someone to complain about an infringing domain name and to obtain its deletion in order to give the complainant an opportunity to register it. Alternatively, the URDP can order transfer of the domain ownership.
The advantages of the URDP process is that it is quicker and less expensive in resolving disputes than litigation.
