Saturday (pronunciation: Saturday) is the sixth day of the week. The name is a corrupted form of the pagan god Saturn.

Some Jews and Christians consider Saturday to be the day of the Sabbath. Due to the long timespan since the command was given to Moses and inaccuracies in the pre-leap-year calander, the correct day is no longer known with certinty.
