On March 29, 2021, a novel of Captain Underpants, a childrenâs book, was pulled from shelves of bookstores and libraries after the publisher said it âperpetuates passive racismâ. [1] [2] The book that got pulled was âThe Adventures of Ook and Glukâ by Dav Pilkey. [3] [4]
