Ed Martin is

In 2010, Martin was the Republican nominee for Congress in Missouri’s 3rd congressional district, challenging incumbent Democrat Russ Carnahan during the 2010 election. Previously, he served as chief of staff for Governor Matt Blunt and chairman of the St. Louis Board of Election Commissioners.

Martin was appointed by President Donald Trump to lead the anti-Weaponization Working Group at the Department of Justice, and also act as the pardon attorney. Prior to that he served as the interim U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C. under President Trump.

Martin received a law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law.
