A fisherman is someone who catches fish for a living or for recreation. It is a healthy activity outside in the fresh air, but can be a difficult way to earn a living.
In the Bible, particularly the New Testament, the concept of a "fisherman" can apply to bringing people to God and the Good News of Jesus Christ.
For example, in Matthew 4:18-22 states about Jesus:
