Hannah Ocuish

Hannah Ocuish (March 1774 – December 20, 1786) was executed at the age of twelve years, being hanged on December 20, 1786, in New London, Connecticut. She is believed to be the youngest person executed in the United States. This was punishment for the murder of 6-year-old Eunice Bolles. She attempted to stage the scene as an accidental death, and when that failed, she attempted to blame a group of four boys. However, she ultimately confessed.[1][2]
