History
Michelle Wu won the 2021 Boston mayoral election in November that year. She won the popular vote by 64% although the turnout was only 33%.
In December 2023, Wu's racism came to light, as she planned a Christmas Party that month which specifically sought to exclude any white people from being invited.[1][2]
