Ouroboros

The word 'Ouroboros' describes the common symbol of a snake devouring its own tail (the Greek 'ουροβορος' literally means 'tail-devouring'). It is often used as an illustration of circular arguments, and is also the source of the symbol for infinity, '∞'.
