The Siege of Fort Vincennes was a battle that took place in Indiana in February 1779, during the American Revolution. It is also sometimes called the Siege of Fort Sackville. Commander George Clark received allied help from Canadian volunteers during the effort. After the battle, Governor Henry Hamilton surrendered.
