:::::I wonder about these changes myself.  The brownshirts term, although originating with the SA is now used as a generic slur (albeit occasionally justifiedly) against any police force or other organisation that enforces the law strictly.  Perhaps we could look at retaining the Brownshirts article, but with a greater focus on the colloquial use of the term rather than the historic one?  --[[User:DamianJohn|DamianJohn]] 20:19, 28 February 2013 (EST)

::::::I can see your point DamianJohn, sounds okay to me; I was looking at it from the one use of the term as to the German SA and the redundancy of the three articles on same. --[[User:JohnJustice|JohnJustice]] 21:07, 28 February 2013 (EST)
