Popular frontman Bon Scott died of an accidental overdose of alcohol in 1980. The band continued on after recruiting frontman Brian Johnson, who sounds similar to Scott. Johnson was a popular replacement and the band enjoyed success up to the mid-1980s. In addition to Johnson, the band consists of brothers Angus and Malcolm Young, Cliff Williams, and Phil Rudd.
