The album "Love & War" features zero mention of Jesus' name in the lyrics, including variants such as "Christ", "Messiah", "Lamb" and more.
Since disbanding in October 2012, the band has been accused of compromising on its previous stances of purity, anti-abortion and anticonformity.
In 2013, while the band was operating a BarlowGirl Merch liquidation sale, two band members gave accolades to Beyoncé. Lauren expressed her approval for the solo singer in January 2013 after hearing her perform at [[Barack Obama]]'s second inauguration.
