Bourneville is a town in the [[United Kingdom]] best known for being the home of Cadburys Chocolate, one of the largest chocolate manufacturers in [[Europe]]. Cadburys popular dark chocolate is actually named Bourneville after the town.
Although the chocolate is manufactured here, the packing and boxing prior to retail is carried out in a [[Lancashire]] town called Nelson. As the volume of goods transported between the two towns is so great, a specially chartered [[train]], known locally as the "cocoa shunter" makes several trips per day.
