:::The things I threw at it didn't work as I had hoped. I now included a workaround: Just call the template as '''<nowiki>{{welcome|sig=~~~}}</nowiki>''' to get (in my case):
{{welcome|sig=[[User:JLindon|JLindon]]}}
It's not perfect, but it should be good enough... at least that's my current limit of knowledge. If I learn more, I'll mention it. --[[User:JLindon|JLindon]] 21:18, 8 May 2007 (EDT)
