Try to avoid repeating the same arguments made by others, instead just state that you agree with them. Try to avoid [[namecalling]] and [[personal attacks]].

I still don't think that a nomination system is the right way to go in such a [[tournament theory|relative performance competition]], but since you apparently need to have such a page in order to participate, I'll open up this nomination for myself.
I'm a relatively new member ([http://faleg.org/cgi-bin/conservapedia/editcounter_Tool1?username=JLindon 80 edits] so far, not counting this one), but I think I proved my worth (or at least gave a good impression of what I'm capable of).
I seem to get along well enough with users and sysops, and one of my fields of interest (economics) is in an area that's not exactly overcrowded with sysops from what I saw so far, so I would be able to do some maintenance work in this area as I go along.
My major contributions can be found on [[User:JLindon|my user page]]. On the more technical side, I have a good bit of experience with templates and their application (like my correction to the use of the Sysop Nomination Discussion template used on these pages, which I silently fixed before the major discussions started) and know my way around the MediaWiki markup and structure. --[[User:JLindon|JLindon]] 13:31, 10 May 2007 (EDT)
