Some have noticed inconsistencies in the news reporting of Payton's death, such as whether the cause was attributed to [[encephalitis]] or [[meningitis]].<ref>[http://themillenniumreport.com/2019/01/did-muellers-stasi-thugs-bump-off-journalist-bre-payton-after-she-outed-him-for-wiping-out-damning-strzok-page-texts/ Did Mueller’s Stasi thugs bump off journalist Bre Payton after she outed him for wiping out damning Strzok-Page texts?]</ref>
