Some speculation exists that Floyd and his accused killer, Officer Derek Chauvin, may have been involved in a criminal enterprise together given their personal relationship and Floyd involvement in counterfeiting, pornography, and illegal drugs. The possibility of the two sellling drugs at the night club they worked together at has not been ruled out.  With the Minneapolis 3rd Precinct evidence room and records having been destroyed in the [[Marxist]] uprising, valuable evidence for [[federal]] investigators may have been lost.

Chauvin was charged with crimes that observers claim may be very difficult to secure convictions, leading to more speculation that the Office of the Minnesota [[Attorney General]] and [[Keith Ellison]] may be setting the stage for more riots and violence when Chauvin is found [[not guilty]].
