The Planned Parenthood of Greater New York announced in July that they would rename their headquarters, due to Sanger's racism and promotion of eugenics.<ref>[Planned Parenthood to remove Margaret Sanger's name from center over 'racist legacy']</ref>  In a statement, they said: "Margaret Sanger's concerns and advocacy for reproductive health have been clearly documented, but so too has her racist legacy."
