::::::::::::I'll be happy to rip Staples and Fr. Hard On to shreds when the time is right in a debate on mediation. But this is a debate on grace, not authority, marriage, Holy orders, sacraments, etc etc etc. RobSTrump 2Q2Q 14:06, 25 August 2020 (EDT)

:::::::::::::This is an excellent place to close the debate. Both sides have been fully expressed. Agreement is not expected in a debate. The Catholic position on the doctrine of grace is not the non-Catholic position. The non-Catholic position on grace is not the Catholic position. The issue has not been settled. That is legitimate. Settling an issue that has been debated for centuries is not the purpose of this Debate. It has been a forum for discussion, and it has been nothing if not animated and passionate. Neither side can be said to have "made their case". Both have been as honest as possible about the reasons for the position they hold. That is as it should be. --Dataclarifier (talk) 14:39, 25 August 2020 (EDT)
