Brandsville is a city in southeastern Howell County, Missouri. It had a population of 161 at the 2010 census.

History
The town of Brandsville was laid out in 1883, as a result of the construction of a line of the St. Louis and San Francisco Railway through this part of the county. It was named for Michael Brand, a brewer in Chicago who was also a large landowner in the area and donated some of his property to the new community. During its early days, it was also known as "Flag Pond," due to the presence of a marshy pond nearby.

For a time in the early 20th century, the area around Brandsville and extending southeast to neighboring Koshkonong was notable as a major peach-growing site, with some 10-20,000 acres of orchards in place by 1913 and selling their fruit nationwide. The Brandsville district was also significant for sheep ranching and the growing of apples and grapes.
