Following discussion between some sysops, we plan on insisting that anybody who creates a template also properly documents that template, with the penalty that it will be deleted if they do not do so. I will shortly be preparing a template that can be posted on the user talk pages of people who fail to document their templates advising them of this requirement. [[User:Philip J. Rayment|Philip J. :I have created the [[template:TemplateDocRqd|template]] for user talk pages. There are two versions, but this is the standard one for new templates:
