A television series starring Kiefer Sutherland as a federal agent at the [[Los Angeles]] branch of the fictional CTU (Counter Terrorism Unit). '''24''', which airs on the [[Fox]] network in the US, is famous primarily for its controversial depiction of torture. In March of 2007, The US Army asked star Kiefer Sutherland to give a talk at West Point telling cadets that it is wrong to torture prisoners. Earlier, Brigadier General Patrick Finnegan visited the set of '24' and said that he told them that 'I'd like them to stop. They should do a show where torture backfires...
