On a foggy Friday morning at 6:30 AM a murder took place.  Everything was well-planned in advance, there was no trace of the murder, no funeral or memorial service, and the murder was shrugged off by an uncaring public.  However, Clarice was not murdered by a contract killing or a mob-ordered hit; she was murdered by "Oswald Gilmore, M.D.", doing his duty as an abortionist.  (He would later end his bloody career by committing [[suicide]] by gunshot.)
