Members of the jury had just wrapped up their second full day of deliberations and were being transported by the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department in an unmarked van. The NBC producer ran a red light while following the van. When stopped, the NBC producer told police, "I was trying to see, I was being called by New York going, maybe these people you need to follow, but I don't know. It was discreet, I wasn't like going to talk to anybody, just trying to find a location."
