I would go with Clan-did no. I agree neither is an accurate rendition, but I have heard the odd Saesneg (pun intended) say Clandidno quickly, and it sounded reasonably convincing, but whenever they go for thlandidno, it just sounds like they have a bad lithp or their teeth are in danger of falling out. Anyway, its much better than having it called lan-dud-no.
All this means that we should have a page (or several on) Yr Iaith, and how to pronounce it.
Then we can get Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau reinstated. Cymraeg! Yn Nghonserfapedia! Ie!
