Press secretary Iuliia Mendel for Volodymyr Zelenskyy tweeted a photo of alleged Ukrainian firefighters with soot caked on their faces with the caption "These are our Ukrainian Firefighters!" in a Facebook post on March 17, 2022.<ref>https://web.archive.org/web/20220317181514/https://twitter.com/IuliiaMendel/status/1504507154333581314</ref> "Thank you!" Punctuated with the Nazi slogan "Glory to the Heroes!"<ref>https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/250641</ref> A Ukrainian flag emoji ends the post.
