|Basketball star Michael Jordan uses the help of the Looney Tunes to beat back alien invaders from outer space who wish to take away their freedoms. Though the film hints at an anti-illegal immigration message, it suffers from messy animation and a lack of depth, and it is often cited as feeling more like a commercial than a film. A sequel called ''Space Jam: A New Legacy'' was released in 2021 starring pro-communist basketball star LeBron James.
