There are five types of saxophones in use today: E''b'' [[Soprano Saxophone]], B''b'' [[Alto Saxophone]], E''b'' [[Tenor Saxophone]], C Tenor Saxophone (for orchestra) and E''b'' [[Baritone Saxophone]]. Because the note fingering is the same on all types of saxophones, it is easy for a saxophonist to switch from one sax to another.
