I hope you start reading the Church Fathers too, some of whom were disciples of the Apostles, to see what the Early Christians believed and how they lived in love. Many of them died as Martyrs for Christ. One such was Saint [[Ignatius of Antioch]], a disciple of Saint [[John the Apostle]].
