:::Although imposing same sex marriage on the Taiwanese people right after they overwhelmingly rejected it in a referendum is certainly part of the equation, that's not why I called the DPP's policies "woke." The actual reason I called them "woke" is because those they, in general, are designed to "fundamentally transform" Taiwanese culture and ''permanently destroy'' all links between itself and its mainland counterpart. The DPP doesn't want Taiwan to be the "free China," it wants Taiwan to be a completely separate, '''non'''-Chinese nation. In other words, Taiwan is slowly transforming into the East Asian equivalent to Zelensky's Ukraine.
