I most recently changed some of the citations for this article due to the original citation leading to a 404 page. When sticking the url in the wayback machine, the wayback machine spews "This URL has been excluded from the Wayback Machine."<ref>https://web.archive.org/web/20240000000000*/http://www.bible-history.com/pontius_pilate/pilateArchaeology.htm</ref> After clicking "edit" to fix this, I found that the citation seemed to be using an archiving template<ref>[[Template:Cite_web]]</ref>. Inside this template was an archive url that did lead to a functional archive page, however, again, clicking the reference itself led to a 404. I don't use this template and therefor did not know how to fix the template properly. I did my best by adding additional citations.
