In another blatant Haaretz and its Jerusalem correspondent Nir Hasson hypocritical coverage in 2021 during the lead-up to and aftermath of Operation [[Guardian of the Walls]]:
For about 2 months (from April 2021 onward), Haaretz remained silent on a wave of racist antisemitic attacks by Arab youths against visibly religious, ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) Jews (who don't even serve in the army) in Jerusalem—including slapping, knocking off hats and shtreimels, and other humiliations targeting defenseless Torah scholars.
In contrast, Hasson eagerly published a smear article in mid-June 2021 against Jewish participants in the rescheduled Jerusalem Day Flag March, using sensational headlines to demonize them after one Arab provocateur expressed pro-Nazi sentiments regretting that Hitler "hadn't finished the job.".<ref>[https://justsayingitoutloloud.blogspot.com/2026/01/haaretzs-nir-hasson-and-islamic-arab.html Haaretz's Nir Hasson and Islamic-Arab racism, supremacy: 2021]. This selective outrage—ignoring prolonged unprovoked Arab racism while amplifying any Jewish reaction—reveals again deep anti-Jewish bias at Haaretz, undermines Jewish safety, and emboldens genuine hatred toward Jews.
