|This movie glorified much of the [[homosexual agenda]] and normalized gay relationships. Specter, a cyclops cop for the city of New Mushroomton, is a lesbian who has an unnamed "girlfriend" and has an unnamed "daughter". The movie was banned in Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Russia because of this. On January 27, 2020, two months before the film was released, a San Francisco tattoo artist named Sweet Cecily Daniher had filed a copyright lawsuit against Disney, Pixar and Onward producer Kori Rae, believing that Pixar had copied the design of her Vanicorn in violation of her rental agreement with the company, as well as the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, the Visual Artists Rights Act and the California Artists Protection Act. She has sought in her suit to prohibit the distribution of the film and any infringing advertisements or merchandise. It was a huge box office failure due to the Covid 19 outbreak.
