'''Pearl Harbor''' is a [[United States]] Naval Base on the island of O'ahu, Hawaii. Until the late 1800's, Pearl Harbor was teeming with pearl-bearing [[oyster]]s, hence the name "Pearl" Harbor.<ref>History.Navy.Mil, [http://www.history.navy.mil/docs/wwii/pearl/hawaii.htm The U.S. Navy in Hawaii, 1826-1945], accessed July 16, 2007.</ref>
