Bin Laden has not been found guilty for the 9/11/01 attack, although he has been found guilty for other crimes. How about mentioning those (at least first) before mentioning something of which he hasn't even been convicted?

The Taliban most assuredly did '''not''' "emerge from" the ''mujaheddin'', despite what the cited source, commondreams.org (which bills itself as "breaking news and views for the progressive [read ''liberal''] community"), says. Even [CNN http://www.cnn.com/WORLD/9610/05/taleban/] can get it right—the Taliban arose in opposition to the muj. At ''most,'' some of the muj may have defected to the Taliban. The idea that US aid to the muj "in the 80s" (to use commondreams.org's phrase) led to 9/11 is simply a liberal myth. [[User:Tradcon|Traditional Conservative]] 23:53, 9 September 2007 (EDT)
