Metamorphosis refers to "a major change of form or structure during development"<ref>[http://www.amonline.net.au/insects/insects/metamorphosis.htm Insect Metamorphosis]</ref>. It is common to many species of [[insect]]s, as well as [[amphibian]]s, [[mollusc]]s and [[crustaceans]]. It usually involves both great physical differences and drastic changes to the organisms behaviour and lifestyle. Additionally, most organisms that undergo metamorphosis cannot reproduce until their final form. Types of metamorphosis include both [[complete metamorphosis]] and [[incomplete metamorphosis]].
