However, the universe as a whole is an isolated system. An isolated system never exchanges matter or energy with its surroundings. It is impossible for the total entropy of an isolated system to decrease, therefore the universe is becoming more and more disordered. In this way the Second Law of Thermodynamics disproves evolution.
