According to a 02/15/2005 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, Secret Service Records appear to show that Gannon checked in, but never checked out of the White House on many occasions, and visited the White House on several days during which no press conference or other press events were held. In a 2007 interview, Gannon stated that he has never spent the night at the White House.
