I agree completely Philip - searching for phrases <i>is</i> more important. However, the numbers are still irrelevant. Drawing conclusions based on a search for "second generation atheist" as a comparative exercise assumes:
#Others have referred to the exact phrase in an online article
#No-one refers to the same phenomenon in another way, i.e.
**"second-generation atheist"
**"children of atheist parent"
**"children of atheistic parents"
**"offspring of atheists"
**etc
#the item you wish to compare to - children of Christians - are also consistently referred to.
#that such references are even on the internet to begin with
