Zero (written "0") is a non-[[Natural Numbers|natural]] number that serves as an additive identity. It has sometimes been regarded as conceptually problematic, and was excluded from classical Greek mathematics<ref>D. F. Wallace - 2003. <cite>Everything and More: A Compact History of Infinity</cite></ref>, though it eventually gained acceptance in Europe as a result of contact with [[Muslim]] mathematical though <ref>J. L. Berggren - 1986. <cite>Episodes in the Mathematics of Medieval Islam</cite></ref>. Zero differs from other real and imaginary numbers in that division by it is not possible<ref>http://mathworld.wolfram.com/DivisionbyZero.html [http://mathworld.wolfram.com/DivisionbyZero.html]</ref> - in fact, this property of zero lies at the heart at a number of fallacious mathematical arguments.<ref>http://mathforum.org/dr.math/faq/faq.false.proof.html [http://mathforum.org/dr.math/faq/faq.false.proof.html]</ref>
