:::::Science isn't something you need formal training for. A seven year old who wonders if things fall down all the time and devises an "experiment" to test their theory is a scientist. A quick look at BET programing, and it's obvious that it is not geared toward "Caribbean blacks living in Queens." Considering most Carribbean natives and Africans hate African Americans, it's not exactly geared toward them.
