The bridge doesn't go to Martha's Vineyard - it crosses a pond onto a cape on the east side

There's no bridge that connects Chappaquiddick Island to Martha's Vineyard. That connection is made by the On-Time Ferry. The bridge that Senator Kennedy drove off of is at the end of Dike Road, which goes over Poucha Pond.
